Sorry, that's not the way it works. After an email is sent, everybody in the world can see what your wrote. We hide the email address of the recipient, so nobody can tell who the email was sent to.

I sent a test email and it never showed up on the site.
It ain't that simple. Each message goes through a rigorous moderation system. Test emails will probably not show up on the site.

We do not collect email addresses. We don't even ask you for your email address. We don't care. This is not about email addresses, it's about freedom of speech or something like that.

I can't get sued for defamation or slander can I?
Well, in this great country, anyone can sue anyone. That's what they make lawyers for. Whether you LOSE a defamation or slander lawsuit is directly relevant to your knowledge of defamation law and free speech.
