I spoke with my friend from immigration last night & today. I was going to call you but this is so nerve racking I can not possibly recall all of this. First I'm not sure if I have told you this but I am not dealing with immigration anymore. I am dealing with a tribunal and a judge that will hopefully overturn immigrations original decision. In my original application to immigration they made a number of mistakes only through my friends help was I able to figure out that these mistakes would allow me to get where I am now. He says immigration tribunal reviews all justice files before they make a final decision on any visa. He asked me if consumer affairs victoria comes under Justice. He said they may or may not ask you about this indecent unless its in a Justice record but if they are overturning a immigration decision and there is any additional information out there to prove you do not always tell the truth it will affect there decision. I did some checking and CAV falls under justice. Infact the email I got from CAV was from consumer@justice.vic.gov.au. I told him this and he said he has no doubts it will come up and the suspicion alone about why you changed your story is enough to reject it as this proves you probably change your story to suit your needs. I could barely get any sleep last night after he told me this because I DO not want to lose what I have worked at here for the last 2 months. You, dooey, your mom no one understands what this means to me. You are just out for yourselves and fair enough. But I must be out for myself and do what is right for me. Also my parents are giving me a lone to travel but its contingent on the approval of this visa, so I can use the money to see the great barrier reef. So If I lose the visa I wont get the money to travel like I need. You want me to pay you but if I lose my parents lone i'm out. I spoke with CAV this morning I can not withdraw over the phone because they have had a number of times this has happened in the past. Residents get threats from the land lords to keep residents quite and this is why they follow up on complaints as they do. If I write this statement it has to completely dispute what i said before and if I do that I'll be asked why by the tribunal for my visa simply because its in the justice file. However I know this is a huge cost to you with the fines and other things that will happen and I do want to help you out. The Consumer affairs also told me that if its found to be an unregistered rooming house everyone will have to be relocated if its not upto code. They said you have nothing to worry about as far as a place to live. He said we will all end up in a state owned rooming house or hotel because there is a no homeless policy in victoria. |
